Prof. Jiechen Zhao and Ms. Qian Zhao Gave Lectures During 14th Training Course

On September 5, 2025, a professional training and reporting event focusing on the application and practice of marine toolkits was successfully held, building a platform for knowledge exchange and experience sharing among practitioners in the marine field.
Prof. Jiechen Zhao from the First Institute of Oceanography, Ministry of Natural Resources gave lectures on “Application and Practice of the Toolkit”, and Ms. Qian Zhao from the UN Ocean Decade OSF Programme Office jointly delivered a course on the “Ocean Literacy & Human-Ocean Harmony in the COAST Toolkit”. Leveraging their profound professional backgrounds, the two experts started with theoretical knowledge explanations, combined with rich practical cases, and deeply analyzed the operation key points, application skills, and values of marine toolkits in various marine research and practical scenarios. This helped trainees improve their ability to use the tools, better explore marine data, and carry out marine - related work.
